Previously, the exam were been divided into two tiers named as tier I and tier II. From now onward, it will be divided into 4 tiers that include Tier I (Prelim), Tier II (Main), Tier III (Descriptive), Tier IV (Data Entry Skills Test/ Computer Proficiency Test). So, one has to qualify all the tier successfully as to get shortlisted. As the exam pattern had changed, but few things will remain unchanged that is the marking scheme for Tier II exam (negative marking is also included in this one), The last stage is of qualifying nature and is only applicable to certain posts, Document verification round will be taken accordingly to the schedule.

  • Tier I has been shortened to 100 questions (worth 200 marks) that must be completed within 75 minutes.
  • The Descriptive Paper will be given in both English and Hindi. One could opt out any medium.
  • In Tier I, deduction of 0.5 marks will be made for each wrong answer
  • Both Tier I and Tier II papers will be held through online mode
  • The final marking will be done on the basis of marks secured in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III exams.
  • There will be NO SECTIONAL CUT OFFS.
